Combining offline and online modes in teaching is the most efficient way to enhance a student’s learning efficiency and learning experience. Technology has made a great impact on teaching and learning. Hybrid learning and teaching is a crucial development in education. Hybrid learning is defined as teachers teaching in both online and offline classes simultaneously for the students. It depends on the students to choose the way they wish to attend the classes to maximise efficiency. It is conducted in both online and offline mode. Offline mode takes place in a traditional approach and while in online mode teachers conduct live classes in online applications like Zoom, Google Meet, etc. Experiential learning is an independent way of making students active learners.
Hybrid learning is a growing trend, with more and more schools embracing the format the coronavirus pandemic increased both the implementation of this mode’s pace and the overall adoption rate of many hybrid formats. It is a comprehensive and combination approach to combine the best parts of face-to-face and online learning to create the ideal learning experience. The goal is to combine the two formats to create a singular learning experience without any loopholes. Face-to-face aspect of hybrid learning benefits from the opportunity for real-time engagement among family and peers.
